A Note from our Library Board President Kate Pratt

As we head into our third “Pinckney in May” celebration and fundraiser, I am awed at what we have accomplished since we began this project.  What an amazing coming together of the community to support our library and help us celebrate our past.  As before, we will be raising money at this event, but our focus this year has changed more towards the community spirit that is engendered by an evening of fun, food and music.  So many people and organizations have chipped in to help with this, it would be impossible to name them all (and way too likely to leave someone out) that I won’t even try, but I will extend a huge “THANK YOU” to everyone who has worked on, contributed to and/or attended this event.  We couldn’t have done it without you!

If you haven’t done so before, please stroll around our beautiful facility and discover all the marvelous materials and programs that Pinckney Community Public Library has to offer.  And, know that you have had a part in making it happen.  Cheers!

On May 20, 2017, the Pinckney Library will once again be hosting a silent auction and music concert fundraiser called “Pinckney in May: Bids, Bites, Beats & Books”. We are currently asking for donations for our silent auction. Auction item donations could include such things as artwork; autographed memorabilia; jewelry; gift cards/certificates or a themed gift basket. Cash donations would also be appreciated.
